Like most PTs, my career in health and fitness started from a love of training. After a twelve year career as a flight attendant, I made the move to go full time into the industry. Whilst I love all elements of training and trying something new, fundamentally I want to help people. I believe training, and ultimately living a healthy life, should be available to anyone and no one should feel intimidated or lost when they walk into a gym. Making the choice to do something positive for your body and mind should be celebrated and encouraged.
I’ve been a qualified PT for 6 years, and am always looked to further my knowledge and skill set. This has led me to achieve my CrossFit Level 1 Coach qualification, and I’m currently working towards my Level 4 in Strength and Conditioning. There’s nothing more empowering that lifting a heavy barbell, and my real passion in training is strength work, particularly for women.
To be the best coach I can for my clients, it’s so important to keep learning. In order to give my clients a full range of support, I’m a Level 4 Nutrition Coach. I work online with anyone looking to optimise their nutrition to aid their performance for sport or competition, build muscle, lose weight, or just establish some healthier habits for their family. In my opinion, personalising our nutrition based on our lifestyles and goals is key to maintaining a body we’re happy in, forever.
