Jesse Henning – Great news on his client Harvey Bannister
Huge congratulations to my client Harvy Bannister.
Harvey, aged 14, is a competitive swimmer for Bishops Stortford Swimming Club, specialising in both the 50m and 100m breaststroke. He is currently ranked 5th in Hertfordshire in the under 15’s category.
Along with up to 6 days per week swimming training, I’ve been working with Harvey for the past month, 2-3 sessions per week @Koru Gym, with an emphasis on building up his strength/power and rate of force development to compliment his swimming.
Throughout this time, Harvey has exceeded all expectations I have set for him and his progressions in the gym continue to climb each and every workout – already handling well over his bodyweight in several key exercises and a noticable improvement in power! (this guy has huge potential as a strength athlete).
Harvey qualified first time for the East of England Regionals held at Luton this past weekend, swimming a PB by over 0.75 seconds from his qualification time 1 month ago.
This is a great accomplishment from someone who is already competiting at a very high level.
So once again – massive well done Harvey!
